Between Riverdale Park and Old Parish House, stop by for a Porchfest! featuring local artists, including a Kampfire Karaoke Singalong! Here's the lineup:
11:00 a.m. Allison Hughes Acoustic covers and originals by Allison and friends. Allison has lived, taught and performed in College Park for 19 years. She directs College Park Chorale and is a member of local bands Paint Branch Creek and Laundry World. AllisonSings.com
12:00 p.m. Kampfire Karaoke Singalong with Rumi! Sing fun songs by The Beatles, Indigo Girls, and more, with a digital songbook! Rumi will bring her acoustic guitar, you bring your voice and your smartphone!
1:00 p.m. Open Mic! Sign up starts at 1:00pm!
2:00 p.m. The Overthinkers! An acoustic trio -- Amy Moffitt (vocals, uke), Chuck Rainville (bass), Mike Carlowicz (guitar, vocals) -- playing covers of Americana rock, folk, indie, and deep-cut country. We sing lyrics that make you think, but not too much.
Old Parish House in College Park (12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.)

Relax and recharge with the College Park City-University Partnership and the College Park Arts Exchange on Old House Parish Green! Bring your blankets + chairs and meet your neighbors at Old Parish House Green from 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. for live acoustic music from Mike Hummel, Joshica Acoustic, Kristin Rebecca, ZooKulele Collective & Dave, face paint, arts and crafts, outdoor games, a gift card raffle, and a sweet treat! Then, head over to kidz’ corner at Old Parish House for carnival games, face paint, giant jenga, arts + crafts, samples from Marathon Deli and Rita’s Italian Ice! There will be music throughout the afternoon with Miles Spicer kicking things off at 12:00 p.m., Eric Maring AKA Mr. M, Dom Elliot and Janine Wilson wrapping things up. Resource tables include: College Park Academy, College Park Bicycles, District 3 County Councilmember Eric Olson, and RISE Investment Partners.
Discovery District (10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.)

The Discovery District merges the research strength of UMD College Park with innovative public and private partners addressing the Grand Challenges of our time. Join the new Discovery District Partnership, the Purple Line, the 21st District Delegation, and more on June 8th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. as they showcase their innovation, connection and more. Plus, the Hotel at UMD will raffle off a complimentary two night weekend stay in a Deluxe Room and a 50 minute Southern Difference Facial at the Spa and the Cambria Hotel will raffle off a two night weekend stay with parking!
James Adams Park and Lakeland Community Park (12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.)

Join us at the Lakeland Community Park and James Adams Park on Trolley Trail Day! Enjoy live entertainment, a moon bounce, soul line dancing, and community art activities. Take a break to paint rocks with the College Park Arts Exchange or help UMD's Office of Community Engagement with the new Lakeland Little Free Library!
There will be a dedication for J. Chesley Mack at 1:00 p.m., and don't miss the interactive historical reenactment about Lakeland at James Adams Park by the College Park Aviation Museum and the Lakeland Community Heritage Project. Be sure to visit the resource tables from the Lakeland Community Heritage Project, Lakeland Civic Association, Community Preservation Trust, and the College Park Senior Advisory Committee.
Berwyn Business District (12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.)
Location: Jack Perry Plaza and the corner of Berwyn Road and Rhode Island Avenue, College Park, MD, 20740
The Berwyn Hub will feature specials and samples from local businesses such as Smile Herb Shop, demos with Rad Bikes and Kim Studio Karate, Vital Traditions will host an acupuncture table, the Branchville Volunteer Fire Department will be onsite with a fire truck, DHCD will provide resources, and Tom Gleason will play a unique blend of folk and rock music at 1:00 p.m.!
Hollywood Shopping Center (10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.)
Location: 9805 Rhode Island Avenue, College Park, MD 20740
The stars are aligned in Hollywood! Hollywood Shopping Center’s Activity Hub will feature tickets to the Farmers Market, live music, origami art, Giant chess and Jenga games, Resource Table with District 1 County Councilmember Tom Dernoga, a demo class with Posh Cycling and Fitness and Berwyn Ballet, plus many bike rides with Proteus, and more.
