This year, Riverdale Park will be celebrating the centennial plus 5 and Trolley Trail Day will fall squarely into the town's celebration and commemoration! Town Center will feature live music, a DJ, an inflatable obstacle course and art activities for kids. Learn the history of the old Trolley system with the National Capital Trolley Museum, check out a police vehicle and fire truck, take a Tennis Demo with the Junior Tennis Championship Center, visit a Resource Table with District 3 County Councilmember Eric Olson and the Purple Line, and there will be specials, samples, and discounts from local businesses such as Manifest Bread and Riviera Tapas Bar and much more.
Riverdale Park Station (11:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.)

Riverdale Park Station’s hub is a central place to connect to the trail and grab your t-shirts (while supplies last)! The Village Green will host a DJ, arts and crafts for kids, and lawn games. Jersey Mike's will be out providing coupons for a variety of free subs, free chips and drinks, and free kids meals. The Girl Scouts of the Nations Capital will be showcasing their activities and the Prince George's Running Club will have a prize wheel along with giveaways and discounts. And, be sure to stop by and meet the Prince Georges County Office of Community Relations and the Prince George's County Department of Public Works and Transportation. From Riverdale Park Station, you can travel north to the Old Parish House and beyond in College Park or South to Riverdale Park Town Center, and to Hyattsville!
